Meet Ryan & Ashley

Sacramento natives, hosting since 2016, and Airbnb Superhosts. We love hosting and we love Sacramento. City of Trees House is the result of obsessive attention to detail and a hosting philosophy built on guest experience first.

Our Story

We started hosting in 2016 with a simple idea: create a space guests would remember and recommend. That idea became City of Trees House — a modern retreat with a private hot tub, family room, and every detail curated for comfort. We grew up in Sacramento, raised our family here, and built this property to be the kind of place we wished existed when we traveled with friends and kids of our own.

Why Book With Ryan & Ashley

Direct communication, local expertise, flexible check-in, and transparent payment choice. We live 10 minutes away and are personally invested in your stay. When you book at cityoftrees.house instead of Airbnb you reach us directly by text or phone — no corporate support queue, no multi-day ticket. We respond in minutes, not hours, and we have the authority to fix anything on the spot. We hand-pick every kitchen tool, linen, and amenity. We inspect the property between every stay. Hosting is our craft, not a side hustle.

How We Operate

The property uses a Level Lock Pro+ with a Level Keypad and unique codes per booking, Starlink WiFi, and a smart hot tub controller so we can verify temperature and chemistry remotely. We pre-stock the kitchen with olive oil, salt, pepper, spices, coffee, and basics. We provide a Pack ‘n Play, high chair, baby monitor, and toys for families with little ones. Up to two dogs or cats are welcome with prior approval and a $25 fee per pet for the stay. The backyard is fully fenced. The neighborhood is residential and quiet, with a 10 PM noise curfew that we have never had cause to enforce since we began hosting in 2016.

Areas We Know Well

Sacramento, West Sacramento, Davis, Folsom, Land Park, East Sacramento, Old Sacramento, Midtown, Downtown, the American River Parkway, Sutter Health Park, Golden 1 Center, the State Capitol, and the wineries of the Sierra Foothills. Ask us where to eat, what to skip, where the locals actually go on a weekend, and we will give you a real answer. See our hand-picked local guidebook or our Sacramento travel blog for written guides.
